What we cover

We're so excited to have Chloe Le join us on our team as a Digital Marketing Specialist! Keep reading to learn a little more about her!

I’m an absolute sap for cheesy romantic books and movies. My justification is that I appreciate the emotional roller coaster of crying and laughing (sometimes at the same time) just to end up with the same exact ending every time. It’s all about consistency and reliability - which, coincidentally, is probably why I love marketing. The responsibility of telling a story and making sure the results are just as consistent and reliable.

My gateway into marketing started with my love for journalism. I studied Communications with an emphasis in Journalism at Cal State Fullerton, where I fell in love with storytelling and design but eventually realized I wanted to channel that creativity into marketing. So, I added a minor in Marketing… which also happens to be where I met my now fiancé. So, really, I owe Marketing:tm: a huge shoutout, specifically to “Principles of Marketing 305” at 8:30 a.m.

Outside of work, I also enjoy walking my tyrannical mini goldendoodle, Ferb (yes, named after Phineas and Ferb), staying up to date on pop culture, religiously curating Spotify playlists, and watching the Toronto Maple Leafs let me down in the playoffs. At least they’re consistent and reliable (callback!!)

Q&A

Favorite action figure growing up?

I, unfortunately, was raised in an action-figure-less household, but I really wanted the Optimus Prime action figure that could transform.

What would you name your boat if you had one?

My first thought was the “Jolly Roger,” but instead it’s “The Jolly Rancher” because that’s my favorite candy.

What fictional place would you like to visit?

I’m absolutely gonna hop on Cassidy’s answer (insert link to Cassidy’s welcome blog) and say Velaris from ACOTAR. So catch Cassidy and me just hanging out at Rita’s.

Coffee or tea? Milk in first or last?

I really want to sound cool and say both, but it’s definitely coffee. Always iced, unless they accidentally give it to me hot then I love hot coffee with my whole heart, thank you so much! And milk first, because it’s iced. Unless it’s cold brew, then it goes: ice, cold brew, milk.

What’s the most useless talent you have?

I’ve perfected the Asian squat, so if you need me to sit in a squat for hours on end, I’m your gal!

What is the dumbest way you’ve been injured?

Knock on wood, I’ve never been badly injured before, and I hope it stays that way. The worst “injury” I can think of was when I was younger, my stepdad told me to hug this massive tree for good luck, and I grabbed it only to realize it was a Sandbox tree covered in large spikes, which was super fun!

What book or movie have you recently read/seen, and why would you recommend it?

I recently read Intermezzo by Sally Rooney, about two brothers dealing with the loss of their dad and it’s sooooo good. The way she writes about grief and the relationship between the estranged brothers (who were also estranged from their father) is a 1000/10. Also, one brother is a total finance bro, and the other has braces and is a chess prodigy, so I just loved reading about that dynamic.

Then, a recent-ish movie I watched was Superman, and boy, I was (and still am) hooked. I’m also one of the few people who loved Snyder’s Man of Steel, soooo why can’t we have both???!!!

Gas station food or school cafeteria?

Gas station food. Without a doubt. Even those rotating, three-day-old hot dogs.

Favorite Disney Princess?

When I was younger, I always thought Lilo from Lilo & Stitch was considered a princess, so either her or Mulan, because duh.

Favorite Hexadecimal color?

#AEBD2A. Yes, that vomit color.
