It’s the time of the year again when the whole Hounder gang reunites for some incredible in-person activities! Our team is more excited than ever about the upcoming year since we were able to get the creative juices flowing through some in-person brainstorming. We also got to go on some exciting team outings, but first, let’s dive into what our first in-office Hounder Day entailed.
What we cover
2025 Planning Mixed With Secret Santa Shenanigans
Hounder Day kicked off with the team getting together at our office headquarters nestled in the charming Redlands area. Here, we got to review how 2024 went for us and bounce ideas off of one another for the future. This was a great chance to cover some of the trends we noticed and identify techniques and strategies we need to implement for each of our clients.
Of course, we couldn’t do this without some great insights and 2025 announcements from our very own co-founder and CTO, Josh. We can’t spill the beans on too much yet, but keep an eye out for Hounder-sponsored events (psst: check out RadiCali) and exciting new projects all within the government, higher education, and transit industries.Â
A bunch of brainstorming sessions and meetings happened all over the office, even in one of our storage rooms. There was so much knowledge and ideas being spread, and it’s the reason we continue this yearly tradition — bringing everyone beyond Zoom and coming together to make great things happen!
We always like to sprinkle some fun into everything we do, so this was a perfect opportunity to host a Secret Santa gift exchange. Not all of our team could make it, so we made sure the virtual attendees got to participate as well.
Disneyland Day
Part two of Hounder Day consisted of a Disneyland outing during the day and then a thrilling Anaheim Ducks game that night! If you know our team, we couldn’t go to Disneyland without spending time in the Star Wars section of the park.
The team collectively decided Rise of the Resistance was their favorite ride of the day, and topped it all off by building their own droids. We didn’t get a family picture of all of them, but check out the one Joey (our Digital Marketing Lead) built:
Anaheim Ducks Game
For many members of the Hounder team, seeing the Anaheim Ducks was their very first hockey game experience! We got to spend our time in an incredible private box suite with each other and chat over some delicious drinks and food.
This part of the week was a little bittersweet, as it was also the night we had to say farewell to the team members who flew out to visit us. It only makes us more excited for next year and what exciting accomplishments we’ll hit at the end of 2025!
